Team

Founder and Creative Director

Carolina brings a wealth of experience in applied theatre and a deep commitment to empowering migrant women. Her experience as a migrant in the UK added to her extensive background in performing arts and a Master’s degree in Applied Theatre from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama laid the foundation for MinA in 2018. Carolina believes in the transformative power of the arts to promote personal and collective empowerment, particularly in the healing journey of migrant women survivors of gendered violence.

Research and Development Manager/Co-director

Renata uses her expertise and dedication to contribute to the organization’s growth and evolution, ensuring that the programs and initiatives remain grounded in sound research and effective development strategies. For the past 10 years she has been working as a Programme Manager, involved in developing international collaborations, focusing on the use of Arts & Community engagement methodologies as a resource for researching Gender-Based Violence, Mental Health, Urban Violence, and homelessness in the UK, Latin America, and South Asia.
